1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AuthorityNow ("Service") at authoritynow.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
AuthorityNow is an AI-powered content platform designed to help founders and business leaders build authority on social media. The Service includes:
- AI-assisted content generation for X (Twitter) and LinkedIn
- Content scheduling and automated publishing to connected social accounts
- DM funnel creation and engagement tools
- Growth and weekly planning tools
- Content library and performance analytics
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Create an account with accurate and complete information
- Be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
4.1 Free Trial
New accounts receive a 7-day trial on AuthorityNow. A credit card is required to activate the trial, but you will not be charged until the trial period ends. Cancel before day 8 to avoid any charges.
4.2 Subscription Plans
The Service is offered through a single $79/month subscription. Plan details are displayed on our pricing page. Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled.
4.3 Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable subscription fees. All fees are in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as stated in our refund policy.
4.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until that date.
4.5 Generation Limits
Each subscription plan includes a monthly generation limit. Unused generations do not roll over to the next billing period. If you reach your limit, you will need to upgrade your plan or wait until your next billing cycle to generate more content.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Generate or distribute content that is defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, or harassing
- Use the Service to spam, phish, or send unsolicited mass communications
- Violate the terms of service of X (Twitter), LinkedIn, or any other third-party platform
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the Service to generate content that impersonates others or spreads disinformation
- Attempt to circumvent generation limits or access controls
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies without notice.
6. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist in content creation. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your needs.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before publishing.
- You are solely responsible for content published to your social media accounts via the Service.
- We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will achieve any specific results or engagement metrics.
- You own the content you create using the Service, subject to the rights you grant us below.
7. Third-Party Platforms
When you connect X (Twitter) or LinkedIn to the Service, you authorize us to publish content on your behalf. You understand that:
- Publishing is subject to the terms of service of the respective platform.
- We are not responsible for content that fails to publish due to platform API limitations, rate limits, or policy changes.
- You can disconnect any connected account at any time from your account settings.
- Revoking access on the third-party platform may cause scheduled posts to fail.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.
8.2 Our Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Service — including the software, design, branding, and all non-user content — are and remain the exclusive property of AuthorityNow. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
9. Privacy
Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee specific results from use of the Service.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuthorityNow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AuthorityNow and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your continued use poses a risk to the Service or other users.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
